The RTP Arquivos application is the official public access app to the audiovisual archives of the public radio and television service.

The RTP audiovisual archive serves as a true repository of the national collective memory, with a heritage that dates back to the beginning of regular radio and television broadcasts in 1936 and 1957, respectively.

Its collection encompasses various mediums and formats, as well as a wide diversity of content, ranging from fiction to documentaries, news to entertainment, and institutional to sports.

The continuous preservation, valorization, and public accessibility of this collection have been strategic objectives of RTP in fulfilling its public radio and television service mission.
